Importance of 5 Days of Diwali:
Day 1- Dhanteras: It is considered an auspicious day to purchase gold, silver and utensils & Goddess Laxmi is worshiped for prosperity.
Day 2 - Naraka Chaturdashi or Choti Diwali: This day signifies the victory of good over evil and the destruction of the demon Narakasura by Lord Krishna.
Day 3 - Diwali: The main day of the festival, celebrated with the lighting of lamps, fireworks, and the worship of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesh.
Day 4 - Govardhan Puja: This day commemorates Lord Krishna lifting the Govardhan Hill to protect villagers from rain, emphasizing the importance of nature and the environment.
Day 5 - Bhai Dooj: The final day celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters, with sisters applying tika on their brothers' foreheads and exchanging gifts as a symbol of love and protection.
